Full Spectrum vs Broad Spectrum

Full Spectrum Oil is created from the whole plant.

Everything the plant has to offer, including flavonoids & terpenes; all the natural smells, colour and taste of Hemp. Including lipids, giving you the full natural benefits of the Hemp Plant. Giving you all the elements of the plant is called the Entourage effect. Using a Co2 extraction process. Full-Spectrum will include trace elements of THC less than 0.2%.

Enjoy all the PhytoCannabinoids in Full-Spectrum.

There are of course benefits to both Full-Spectrum and Broad-spectrum.

Broad-spectrum CBD can be up to 80% pure, also called a THC free distillate, with no trace elements of THC around 0.0005%.

A more refined version of full-spectrum CBD, Distillation is the extraction process used, whereby cannabinoids and terpenes are refined at a molecular level.

See our article on Terpenes to understand their role.

Why choose Broad-Spectrum

Broad-Spectrum is a better choice for people who want a cleaner CBD experience, with minimal impurities. According to studies, the broad-spectrum distillate is less potent than its full-spectrum counterpart due to the lack of the terpenes, flavonoids and lipid fats.
The distillate can be applied to an MCT Carrier Oil or foods and if so desired can have the terpenes added back to the mix.removes all other elements of the plant, removing the other Cannabinoids, including any trace element of THC

It is also worth mentioning CBD Isolate; Isolate is a highly refined cannabis extract often derived from the hemp flowers alone.

The crystallised Isolate, a concentrate of CBD, Can be 99% pure, is ground into a white, odourless powder, Removing any elements of THC.
